The Division Of Postgraduate Dental Education (PGDE)
The Postgraduate Dental Education programme at the Cook College of Dentists include an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program as well as postgraduate study options in nine dental specialties that leads to a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (DClinDent), Magister Chirurgiae (MCh) or Master / Magister of Surgery / Chirurgiae degrees in any specified Dental Specialty and a Specialist certificate, for Specialized Dental practice.
Specialties ranging from Endodontics, Oral Medicine, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics, Paediatric Dentistry, Periodontics, Orthodontics, Prosthodontics, Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics e.t.c.
In all of the programmes, students are presented with a broad range of clinical procedures rather than any single method of treatment, preparing graduates to manage a diversity of cases and use varying treatment modalities.
